| We took a quick long-weekend trip to Arizona to
visit my In-Laws and the kids got some much anticipated cousin time!
Our trip was so short and we had so much to do that we
didn't even have time to go to the Phoenix zoo, as I had originally
planned. But all was well because the kids got their animal fix
at a local farm and petting zoo. They had a blast. Ahgoo
didn't want to see the lions anyway, especially the ones "with lots of
hair." Enjoy our little adventure. |

This
little boy turned six back in December! Following our tradition,
we did not throw a birthday party on an even number birthday. But
we, of course, had to do something special for him. We did two of
his favorite things to celebrate, we took him to the movies (we saw The
Good Dinosaur) and then had a playdate with one of his best friends
from his pre-school at a local park. Buzz is turning into quite
an academic. He won first place at his school in the PTA
Reflections competition and is a straight "A" student at kindergaten,
math comes easy to him. He is also doing extremely well in
Chinese school. He continues to love swimming. We are so
proud of him and can't wait to see what else he's going to achieve!

Happy
March! We started March off with some nice activities like bike
riding at UC Irvine and kite flying near our house. Yesterday we
were between storms and the winds were wild and crazy. But the
skies were beautiful so Mr. BAW wanted to take the kids out kite
flying. My sister-in-law had gotten the kids a couple of cute
kites, a Spiderman and a Cinderella one, so they've been wanting to try
them out. I haven't flown a kite in decades! It was so much
fun!! The wind was perfect and the kites just flew themselves!
Buzz really enjoyed flying the kite and Ahgoo enjoyed eating
snacks while we flew the kites. I did let her hold the kite
handle but she didn't really cared for it. She just enjoyed
eating her snacks and looking at Cinderella. The next day, we had
a major thunderstorm. :-) I'm really enjoying El Nino.
