I can't believe it's almost the end of August!  Sorry for the lack of blogging but between the Olympics and wedding planning, I've had not time to blog lately.  I am a sucker for the Olympics.  It all came from my parents' love of watching opening ceremonies.  Ever since I can remember, we've always watched the Olympics opening ceremonies as a family.  So naturally I was excited about this one in China.  Being Chinese, I knew that China was going to throw the party of the human race.  They have to be the best of the best so the show was going to be spectacular.  They did not disapoint.  The show was extraordinary.  The pictures were amazing.  I also must complement the people who broadcasted the show, the cinematography was amazing.  Dispite the controversies of the fake fireworks and the lip singing, the show was no less amazine.  I am happy I got to see it, with my new family...Mr. BAW and Toby.

Another reason for the lack of blogging is the wedding planning.  I've been the crazy sweat shop lady, namely making all of my paper products.  I've printed table numbers, rehearsal dinner invitations, place cards, and cd booklets.  I've made 140 cd favors, 20 more to go.  We also ordered our cake, flowers, and got a Pastor to conduct the ceremony.  I don't want to reveal any projects until after the wedding, just so my guests will get the surprise.  But I will definitely blog about all the details of the wedding and projects when I return from the honeymoon.  Not only to share my projects, but to document my wedding planning journey for myself.

I will reveal my wedding ring which arrived yesterday.  I debated over whether to have stones in my wedding band or not.  In the end, I decided to go with the anniversary band with diamonds on half the ring.  We got my wedding band at Blue Nile, the same place Mr. BAW got my engagement ring. They had to special make my ring due to its small size.  But I love the ring.  It's sparkly and I love sparkly things.

What else is left to do??  I still have to make the program, make the center pieces, make the day-of timeline, get the marriage license, and meet with the DJ and photographer.  Mr. BAW is working on the entertainment of the evening, a wedding video to be shown at the reception.  His bachelor party in Las Vegas is also coming up.  Then our out-of-town guests will start to arrive in a few weeks.  Wow, it's getting close to kick-off time!!
