Is it October already??
I'm so not looking forward to Daylight Savings time change.
But I am kind of excited about the holiday season starting.
Although the weather has been warm for us still, I definitely
notice the shorter days already. Especially since I'm obsessed
with planning my garden lately and have been super vigilant about which
part of my house gets most sunlight.
With the holiday season
coming up, I'm now busier than ever! I feel like I'm constantly
playing catch-up. There's getting the flu shots, there's always
laundry to do, there's work on the house, there's work-work, there's
grocery shopping, and what about poor little Toby?? Besides his
monthly bath, I've been slacking on the hair brushing, the hugs, the
walks, the nail clippings for Toby! Oh, and I've finally gotten
around to booking a check-up appointment for him, it's supposed to be
annual but I think it's been way over a year now.
complaining. Now I'm starting to look into Fall activities like
Halloween costumes and pumpkin and apple pickings. But first,
I'll show you some pictures of our little adventure to UC Santa Barbara
last month. The weather was hot and we decided to drive up the
coast and visit the university by the sea. It's no wonder this
school has coveted the title of top party school! How can you not
be a party a school when you have your own private beach? As
usual, the kids had lots of fun running all over campus. By
the way, this is the first blog post using my new computer, I decided
to go with the highly rated Dell netbook
. So far it's been great.
