Happy Birthday to our brand new baby nephew!! Today my brother-in-law became a father to a healthy little baby boy! Both baby and mommy are doing well.

We're so happy that Baby will now have a little cousin similar in age to play with at family gatherings. His other cousins are both 6 years older than him.

We're looking forward to visiting the happy new family in a few months, once they get settled down a bit. But since they live in Chicago, our trip out will be quite interesting now that Baby is an "independent toddler!"

I hope everyone had a nice Valentine's Day. Sorry I missed V-day post, I really wanted to talk about these awesome paper clips I've been seeing online! I love clever things and these paper clips are as clever as they come! Who doesn't like combining form and function into one product!? So these adorable heart and house paper clips would have been perfect for a little office romance on V-day. Send a report over to that cutie with a red heart paper clips and see if your message gets through. Heh. How about those adorable animal clips?!?! I also love the airplane clips. The birds clips are actually "bird on a wire" photo clips for the wall. You can buy all of these clips online, just search for paper clips.

Why would anyone get up at the crack of dawn on a Sunday for anything, let alone to run in the cold and fog!?? That's exactly what Mr. BAW wanted to do on Super Bowl Sunday with Baby. So I had to get myself out of my warm, warm bed at 6:30am to drive these two down to Redondo Beach for the Super Bowl 10K run. It was seriously foggy (see picture) at the start of the race. So we made sure to bundle Baby up for the ride.

I hung out at a Starbucks that was at the turn of the race hoping to catch a picture of the pair in action. But the race route was so poorly shown on the race website that I didn't realized that the Starbucks doesn't actually face the race route. So I under estimated Mr. BAW's race time and completely missed them at the turn around point. I didn't see them again until they were already done with the race. :-( But I was glad to get a few pictures of the two of them before and after the race. It is Baby's first 10K run afterall! He even got a T-shirt.

However, I did catch a couple of pictures of the flashier slow runners. There was even a Chinese dragon in the race!

Happy Chinese New Year!! It's the year of the Rabbit. Each year, our whole family get together to share a meal. The kids of course get to collect their red envelopes. Baby is holding on to his red envelopes tightly! :-)
